thing i wanted to write before
after last week's placement, i wanted to write something but i can't really remember why i didn't. i wondered why. giving some thoughts, i remembered back the reason. well, something made me upset. it was the same thing that upset me for several times already. the same thing. thankfully, i think i have managed to control my disappointment towards the matter already. being upset this time around had really given me quite a good time to reflect on my attitude and ways i am coping. well, it is not completely controlled, yet i think i am getting better now. less likely to be affected by things happening around me badly like i used to be before. may be this is a good sign of me getting more mature. *wink*
anyway, the thing that i wanted to write was a quote from albert einstein. he said:

once we accept our limit, we can go beyond them
i wanted to write this because a friend of mine quoted something similar to it before. i've wrote one entry about it. she said:
well, back to the quotation. when i read einstein's quotation, i was so excited to share this with her. and i would like to put this into words so that i can reflect more one it and others can benefit from it as well. indeed, i feel that writing is one of the way that we can fulfil the lesson of the quotation.
how would you personally reflect the quotations?
for me, they
well, indeed muhasabah has always been something that ALLAH and the Prophet have taught us to do. to reflect on everything that we have done (with our time a.k.a hayat, materials, knowledge and soul) and our attitudes (read = akhlak). and for certain things, as we have eager to change for the sake of ALLAH's blessings we would be so eager and wanted to see the changes so very fast, right?
well, changes are not easy, yet it could be permanent.
yet, there is something wonderful that ALLAH has taught us in our quest to go beyond our limits. ALLAH taught us, muslims that nothing will happen unless He allows it to and things happen not ultimately due to what we do BUT because He allows it to. this is why TAWAKAL comes along withh MUHASABAH and USAHA in our quest to BERUBAH. huhuhuhu...
huhuhu..I've wrote toooooooo much, just for a simple quotation.
got to go, there are still loads to cover and tomorrow is clinical placement. huhuhuhu....
'nak jadi baik bukan dengan semata tukar penampilan dan tinggalkan kejahilan dengan sekelip mata..perubahan satu proses...ia adalah menerima yang kita ada kelemahan dan instead of being frustrated dengan kelemahan, jahiliyyah dan segala yang tidak seharusnya ada..kita seharusnya menerima hakikat itu. bahawa kita ada kekurangan. tapi cuba untuk berubah. berdikit-dikit'i loved this quotation so much when she said this before as it motivated me to change for the better and be strong all the way through. it worked for quite a while until i started to forget the reminder. alhamdulillah that ALLAH allows me to have a stronger motivation which is from His words and stories of the Prophet. alhamdulillah...

(if not for seeking His blessings than we should always try to tarbiyah ourselves to make this our lives' mission, sometimes wanting to seek ALLAH's blessing in life is something that we have to struggle to nurture it in ourselves, we have been living so long with the worldly things and lagha things that we failed at times to realise the reason of our creation and failed to always remember that we are getting nearer to death as our hearts tick)
well, changes are not easy, yet it could be permanent.
(could be? this is my opinion. some would say changes are permanent. well, i think it depends. hahahah.. some 'changes' are not permanent)as changes are not easy, we have to be very patient in working for it. or even waiting for it.
(especially if we were hoping and p.r.a.y.i.n.g for someone to do the changes. praying for changes in someone else would be very much harder and challenging..is it? hahaha)patient is something that ALLAH always says in the Quran. He always asks us to seek His help and pray for His assistance in everything that we are doing. yet, He has also warned that He would never helped us or make us better until we worked for it. muhasabah would help us to identify the areas that we need to work on. be it about attitudes, daily life = study = working, ibadah, niat and soooo much more. instead of being disappointed with our states now, we should be more optimise and ambitious to reach a better states/levels in the future. then plan ahead and work hard for the improvement.
