Muslims as brothers

Salam'alaikum wbt

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate.

Ibn ‘Umar r.a reported that Rasulullah SAW said: “The Muslim is the brother of the Muslim. He should not wrong him or surrender him to his enemy or leave him to perish unsupported. Allah will take care of the needs of anyone who takes care of the needs of his brother. On the Day of Rising, Allah will dispel the anxiety of anyone who dispels the anxiety of another Muslim. On the Day of Rising, Allah will veil anyone who veils another Muslim.” (Narrated by Bukhari and Muslim)

Abu Hurayrah r.a reported that Rasulullah SAW said: “Beware of opinion. Opinion is the falsest kind of speech. Do not spy or pry. Do not be rivals or envy one another. Do not hate one another or show enmity to one another. Do not turn your backs on one another. Slaves of Allah, be as brothers!” (Narrated by Muslim)

Anas ibn Malik r.a reported that Rasulullah SAW said: “When I ascended through the heavens, I passed by some people holding copper nails with which they were gouging their faces and chests. I said, “Who are these, Jibril?” He said, “Those are the people who consumed people’s flesh (by back-biting and tale bearing) and attacked their honour.” (Narrated by Abu Dawud)

Abu Barzah al-Aslami r.a reported that Rasulullah SAW said: “O company of those who express belief with their tongues when belief has not entered their hearts! Do not slander the Muslims! Do not seek out their faults! If anyone seek out their faults, Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, will seek out his faults and anyone whose faults Allah seeks out will be disgraced and humiliated in his own house.” (Narrated by Abu Dawud)

Jabir ibn ‘Abdullah and Abu Talhah Zayd ibn Sahl al-Ansari r.anhum reported that Rasulullah SAW said: “No man forsakes a Muslim in a place in which his respect is defamed and his honour disparaged without Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, forsaking him in a place where he desires His help. No man helps a Muslim in a place in which his honour is disparaged and his respect defamed without Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, helping him in a place where he desires His help.” (Narrated by Abu Dawud)

Nafi’, may Allah have mercy on him, said that one day ‘Abdullah ibn ‘Umar r.a looked at the House (Ka’ba) and said, “How immense you are and how immense your sanctity is, but the sanctity of the believer is greater in the sight of Allah than yours.”(Narrated by Tirmidhi)

Allahu a'lam.
